/ Abandoned Territories
Chai à vin

Rouen
France
Built in 1950
Abandonned in 1993

Current owners: Port autonome de Rouen (Par)

Original purpose: Created to receive the "wine in bulk" from wine tankers of Algeria but also of North Africa, linking Rouen with Paris. Multiple purpose: reception, storage and recharging (ships, tank cars, barges, tankers...).

Current situation: Completly abandonned. All the surrounding is in course of reorganization with new infrastructures. However nothing is planned for this building.
